Advanced Data Intelligence for Digital & XR Research
An integrated analytics environment for collecting, processing, and visualising research data across projects in digital communication, immersive education, and extended reality — developed by the Ciberimaginario group at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
// Platform Tools
Evaluation platform for the UPRAISE project — automated survey creation, ETL pipeline, interactive Metabase dashboards, statistical analysis with significance tests, and AI-powered open feedback analysis via Claude API.
Automated book of abstracts generator — upload a CSV of metadata and individual Word files, configure styles and structure, and produce professional DOCX and PDF books with table of contents, section separators, and speaker pages.
Computational analysis of public discourse in social media and digital media — data ingestion from Meltwater/Onclusive, NLP processing with TF-IDF, co-occurrence clustering, narrative classification via LLM, and automated report generation.
Automated certificate generator — upload a PDF background, configure text fields visually, define roles, import participants via CSV, and batch-generate personalised PDF certificates with email delivery.

// Active Research Projects
European project developing advanced digital skills programmes in Virtual Worlds and XR technologies. Ciberimaginario leads Task 5.4 — learning outcomes evaluation across the consortium.
Additional research projects from the Ciberimaginario group will be integrated into this analytics environment as they are activated.
The Ciberimaginario Research Group at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos specialises in digital communication, extended reality (XR), and immersive education. Led by Prof. Manuel Gértrudix Barrio, the group has participated in over 25 national and international research projects and produced more than 150 scientific publications. This analytics platform centralises data intelligence across all active projects.
The platform runs on a dedicated VPS (Hostinger KVM4, France) with a Docker-based stack ensuring isolation and reproducibility. Qualitative AI analysis is processed locally on a Dell Precision 7960 workstation (RTX A4500, 20 GB VRAM) at the XR COM LAB — URJC, keeping all participant data on-premises and fully GDPR-compliant.
